Continuing Professional Education Credit
The educational programs have been planned for Registered Dietitians/Dietetic Technicians/Certified Dietary Managers to receive 16 or more hours of continuing education. Please refer to your continuing education form for maximum continuing professional education credits (CPE).

Exhibits will be open with an unopposed period from 9:45 am to 12:30 pm on Thursday, April 2, 2009. Please express our gratitude to all of our exhibitors and thank the representatives for their generous support.

2009 WDA Conference Exhibitor Session
Food, equipment and nutrition exhibits will be open from 9:45 am to 12:30 pm on Thursday, April 2, 2009. Play "The Nutrition Safari Game”. Go on a quest to learn what each exhibitor has to offer dietetic professionals and dietetic businesses. One person will win a $100 certificate toward the 2010 WDA Annual Conference in Wisconsin Dells. During your self-guided safari, remember to thank the exhibitor representatives for their generous support of our conference!


Tabletop/Poster Session
Tabletop displays will be available Thursday, April 2nd, 2009 .Spend some time at these displays and support member and affiliate programs and initiatives.

Registration Information
To register without a late fee, complete the registration form and return it with payment information to the WDA office by March 24, 2009. After March 24th there will be a $50.00 late fee added. One form per person please. 

Please retain a copy of registration form for your records.


Cancellation and Refund Policy
No refunds will be given after March 24, 2009. Per WDA policy-any request needs to be in writing and sent to the WDA office. Refund if approved by Board of Directors will then be paid minus $30 administrative fee and any handouts and meal costs. A $50.00 administrative fee will be retained for all cancellations prior to that date. All cancellations must be received in writing. As no confirmation letter will be sent, please retain a copy of registration form for your records. If you are pre-registered and unable to attend, a substitute name must be given to the WDA office prior to the conference.

To secure special conference rates, rooms must be reserved by Monday, March 2, 2009. Call 877.525.2427.
The rates are $119.00 for a single, double, triple or quad rate plus applicable state and local taxes. When adding addiitonal guests to the rooms with sofa beds there will be a $20.00 per person charge per night in addition to the base price. All reservations must be guaranteed and accompanied by a first night deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card-American Express, Diner's Club, Discover, Master card and Visa.

Check in time begins at 4:00 pm. Should you arrive as early as 12:00pm, you can pre-register and begin to enjoy the Waterparks. Check out is no later than 11:00am. After you have checked out, if you have the time, you are invited you to stay with us until Waterpark closing time to enjoy the Waterparks and the many other great Kalahari amenities and services available.

Member Product Marketplace
WDA members selling dietetic related and non dietetic products (massages, beauty supplies, cooking products, etc). Fee to display your product is $50. This fee provides space for your exhibit. Must be a WDA member.Each display includes one draped 8 foot table, one chair. An electrical outlet is available upon request.

Parking will be available at the conference site. 


Silent Auction Donation
Monies raised from the silent auction items help support the WDA Scholarship fund. You can help sponsor this effort by either donating money or a silent auction item. WDA Raffle
This year's raffle includes a Grand Prize--
quality 26" HD LCD Television-valued over $500, sponsored by MacMan, Inc, Altoona, WI; Second prize-a pair of Packer tickets, sponsored by The Boelter Companies, Milwaukee; Third prize-$100, sponsored by Ecolab. Cost is $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. Proceeds go towards the WDA scholarship fund. If you are interested in purchasing and not able to attend the meeting, please call the WDA office.
