- Details of nutrition education by registered dietitians were recorded on this instrument. This allowed dietitians to provide and document usual and customary nutrition intervention throughout the 6-month study period.
- Use of American Dietetic Association’s practice guidelines are highly recommended as a means of providing consistency of intervention, thereby allowing the researcher to more clearly link nutrition intervention to outcomes.
