WAND Southeastern Event - Food Evolution Film Private Screening

**Second Chance Viewing - In case you missed it at the WAND Annual Conference**

Do patients ask you questions about the health and safety of genetically modified organisms? How do you respond?  Amidst a brutally polarizing debate marked by passion, suspicion and confusion, Food Evolution explores the controversy surrounding GMOs and food. Join the Southeast section of WAND for a screening of a film that explores the emotions and the science driving one of the most heated arguments of our time. As the narrator of the film, Neil deGrasse Tyson says, “the film explores all the ways science has been used and abused in public discourse surrounding the genetic engineering of food. In a world of misinformation and disinformation, nothing can be more timely.” In the GMO debate, both pro- and anti- camps claim science is on their side. Who’s right? View the trailer at

Marie Colmerauer, MS, CFS, NDTR will provide the welcome introduction and lead the discussion at the end of the film.
