Parents with kids often feel like they're on the mealtime struggle bus with no stop in sight. It's completely normal for kids to be resistant to eating, but it doesn't have to become a stressful time for the family. During this presentation, learn why kids may become more selective as they grow older, how to apply the division of responsibility, phrases to avoid saying, how to respond when your child throws a tantrum at the dinner table, and practical tips to change selective eaters into an adventurous eater.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Identify why kids may become more selective as they grow older
  2. Learn how to apply the division of responsibility and respond to children when they misbehave during mealtime
  3. Obtain practical tips to promote increase variety in a child's diet
