Outstanding Dietitian of the Year Award (ODY)
This award is designed to recognize and honor a Wisconsin dietitian who has made outstanding and significant contributions to the dietetic profession and association. It is the highest honor given to any practitioner by the Wisconsin Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Basic Criteria for Nomination
The candidate must be a Registered Dietitian, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, or Registered Dietetic Technician, certified in the state of Wisconsin and a WAND member for 15+ years. The candidate is selected on the basis of his/her:
- Professional Participation
- Professional Contribution
- Leadership Qualities
- Letters of Support (maximum of 2)
Prior recipients of the Medallion Award or the Outstanding Dietitian of the Year Award are not eligible. This award is given once in a lifetime.
